Hydrogen Gas Detectors

spacer
Hydrogen (H2) gas is a colorless, odorless, non-toxic, and tasteless gas at standard temperatures and pressures. It is also highly combustible and burns with a pale blue flame once ignited. Hydrogen gas vapors are lighter than air and displace oxygen in small spaces, creating a risk of asphyxiation at high concentrations.

Several chemical industries use hydrogen gas including plastics, pharmaceuticals, oil refineries, and agricultural fertilizer. Installing hydrogen gas detectors is extremely important for monitoring air concentrations and preventing catastrophic events.

Hydrogen gas detectors from RC Systems are available in single point sensor and dual sensor options to meet a range of toxic gas monitoring needs. Our dual sensor gas detection systems are CSA certified for Class 1, Division 1 or Class 1, Division 2 locations and we offer replacement sensors and calibration kits.
