ST-71-HMI PC software is designed to interface monitored sensor data to a WindowsXP PC via our ST-71 sixteen channel controllers' RS-485 modbus ports. It provides centralized real-time and historical monitoring, visualization and data archive for from one to ten controllers (160 points max).
In addition to displaying alarm status and values in their engineering units, the ST-71-HMI stores most-recent 10 minute and historical 24 hour trends for each monitored point. Data is archived on the PC's hard drive in 24 hour industry-standard “.csv” files that are easily imported into Microsoft EXCEL™, Microsoft ACCESS™ or other data processing applications.
Up to 10 customer specific plot plans may be imported with each utilizing small "drag & drop" icons to animate sensor point locations and their real-time status. A single click on a primary screen cell point indicator automatically calls up the appropriate plot plan showing sensor locations readings and alarm status.
It should be remembered that ST-71-HMI PC software is not designed to control critical alarm functions. It is provided only as a means to display and archive monitored data.
